GMFS Now Serviced by Shellpoint
As of May 1, mortgage loans that were serviced by GMFS Mortgage LLC, Serviced by Specialized Loan Servicing (SLS) now have a new name – GMFS Mortgage LLC, serviced by Shellpoint.
As part of the Shellpoint family, we are excited to offer you upgraded technology, enhanced security, our new mobile app, the MyAccount loan portal, and best-in-class customer support.
Rest assured, making this transition seamless is our priority. We are committed to offering the best home ownership experience possible. While we are getting things ready for customers in their new MyAccount loan portal, customers won’t be able to log in between July 1 and July 4. If your monthly autodraft (ACH) has cancelled in their current portal, don’t worry; their loan has begun transitioning and will carry over automatically to their new online account.
What to expect after customer’s loan has transitioned to our new MyAccount Loan Portal:
- Activation Email. Customers will receive an activation email with a personalized video about their account being activated.
- Sign in online. Sign in using the existing SLS username and follow the on-screen prompts to complete account, including creating a new password, setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and, in some cases, creating a new username.
- Online Portal. Once logged into account, make payments, view loan details, access statements, and more.
- Bill Pay. If using a bill pay service or mail for payment, please update the payee name and address to GMFS Mortgage LLC, serviced by Shellpoint, P.O Box 60535, City of Industry, CA 91716-0535. Please allow time for mail transit.
