Additional eClose Solution Now Available!
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Encompass eClose as one of our Digital Closings providers. We will begin using Encompass eClose on February 17, 2025 to:
- Improve the borrower experience by having one login for signing the Initial CD and Closing Package
- Reduce time spent at the closing table
- Increase agent efficiencies
- Provide a fully digital collaborative experience
- Settlement collaboration on documents, data and messages through a single access point
- Automatic return of eRecorded security instruments
- Automated post-close QC on ink-signed documents
- Give the Loan Officer the ability to sign the Closing URLA digitally as soon as the loan documents are available
Can all loans be delivered as a hybrid eClosing? Not all can be delivered as hybrid. Some exclusions are loans with a:
- POA
- Inter Vivos Trust (Wet sign only)
- LLC (loan must be to individual persons)
When is the borrower allowed to eSign? As soon as the documents are delivered!
- After reviewing the loan documents, eSign ability is open
- Documents in the eSign package can be signed prior to closing! No need to wait if the docs have been delivered early
Can we redraw a package? Yes, but must be a full package replacement at this time
How is eSigning handled for Title Only borrowers? Signers only see the documents they are required to sign
Can email addresses be shared when eSigning through the ICE eClose solution? Each borrower receives a separate email inviting them to create an account.
