EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

1. GMFS will send the E-Consent ONE TIME and it will be sent directly to the customer(s) through Encompass at the time the CD is sent out.

2. EVERY borrower must perform the following 4 steps NO LATER than 3 business days prior to the closing date.

a) OPEN the e-mail

b) Create their user account and password.  The authentication code is always the last 4 digits of the borrower’s SS#.

c) CONSENT to e-delivery of the CD

d) Electronically SIGN the CD

If steps 2a-d are not completed entirely and on time, then closing will have to be delayed.

NOTE: If the loan is a refinance transaction in a community property state or if there is any non-borrowing owner that will be on title, then #2 above will also be required of the non-borrowing spouse/owner.
